Starlink has announced that it will be the only retailer, alongside Qtel, to sell the latest version of the Samsung Galaxy, pictured, which includes Arabic software.
The new model will be on sale from Starlink and Qtel today, a spokesperson said, adding that the  Samsung Galaxy S2 software will enable the use of Arabic
characters.
“As an added bonus, Starlink will offer a bundle package with the sale of every handset which will include a funky case, a leather pouch and a QR50 voucher to be redeemed against any other Starlink purchase,” she said.
Starlink’s CEO, Keki Ashburner, said: “Samsung’s latest smartphone has proved extremely popular in other markets around the world and is all set to be one of the biggest sellers here in Qatar too. This is a top of the range handset with some outstanding features including a superb touchscreen, HD video and enhanced Android OS providing immediate access to endless apps,” he said, adding: “The Galaxy S2 is a beautifully styled, powerful little phone that will really hold its own against some of its more established competitors.”
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S2 at Starlink, including the bundle package, is QR2,599.
